Marty Carrascosa: A Hollywood Dream
February 3, 2010 2:20 am Marty CarrascosaMarty Carrascosa was living a life for which he had prepared for in Mount Vernon, Texas near people whom he loved when he decided on realizing his Hollywood dream. He had a good job and he had a close-knit family that was near him. The older Carrascoso traveled to the U.S. from Argentina to provide better for his family, setting up, from the ground up, a business which would eventually grow into a multi-million dollar business. His mother, whom he idolizes and his siblings, of whom he is proud, maintains a close relationship with him.
Moreover, Marty Carrascosa was living comfortably working for a Fortune 500 company — a job which he got soon after graduating with a Business degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. It would have made more sense for him to stay in Texas. That is, until he was seized by a desire to fulfill his childhood dream of heading out to the West and becoming a working actor in Hollywood, California. He was restless.
Chucking the stability of his yuppie job, Marty Carrascosa left his job and his family for the uncertainties of a struggling actor’s life. He worked various jobs to earn his keep, including, bartending, fitness training and head modeling while taking acting lessons. When he was not working hard, he was partying hard all over the cool clubs of Hollywood.
Short films and various reality TV shows would beckon Marty Carrascosa, which he eventually got to participate in. He became friends with Hollywood people, such as the star of Jackass, Steve-O, who would later help him form DirtyBird Entertainment, LLC. Now far away from Hollywood, he is still providing consultancy services to Hollywood firms, such as, Nathanael Coffman’s Hawaii-based Inuturo and Tyme 2 Shyne Artistic Studios, LLC.
